Frequently Asked Questions
So, this is a great event and you might have some questions about it all. You may find the answer below:
How do I get tickets for this event?
Our main event is at the Forsyth Barr Stadium.
This is a free, all-ages event and you won't need a ticket to come.
However, there are other various events taking place throughout the week, some of which (like the breakfast) do require you to RSVP. Most events however are being hosted by churches and are open to everyone.
Is there allocated seating?
At the Forsyth Barr Stadium event there will be space set aside for people with disabilities and elderly folk, however there is no allocated seating as such.
Is there a cost to the Stadium event?
While there is no entry fee for the Stadium event, we will be taking an offertory which will be given to a local charity.
We're travelling from out-of-town. Where do you suggest we stay?
It kind of depends on what event you are interested in going to.
Remember, this is a week-long event with our main event at the Forsyth Barr Stadium kicking things off on the Sunday night.
I would suggest checking out Trivago.com or wotif.co.nz
You've mentioned more events during the week. How do I find out about them?
All of our events are listed under the weekly timetable tab. Most events are free, (except the breakfast meeting with Jade) so no need to book tickets.
Breakfast with Jade? What's that?
Jade Te Uri Karaka is one of our gifted guest speakers, and she is hosting a breakfast meeting at Aurora Cafe on 2nd March. This is $10 per person and RSVPs need to be made to Joy Davis by 28 February.
I want to keep up to date with what is going on. How do I do that?
The best way to do that is to join our event on Facebook www.facebook.com/events/1724168141178563/
We regularly update this and you can easily share it with your friends.
I want to invite my friends to this. How can I do that?
That's easy. Just go to our Facebook event, click GOING at the top (under the cover photo), and then Share. You can either invite your friends or share it on your timeline!
I still have a few questions. Can you put me in touch with someone?
